All our professionals at Poudre Valley Foot & Ankle Clinic maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in podiatry and medical and surgical care.
Dr. James C. Anderson, DPM

Dr. James Anderson founded Poudre Valley Foot & Ankle Clinic in 1981 in Fort Collins. He has expanded services to offices in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Lafayette, Colorado. The clinic is very active in the local community and is considered a leader in podiatric care throughout the region. Dr Anderson is himself one of the most highly trained and experienced podiatrists in the country. Dr. Anderson is continually training on the latest developments and, as a result, is able to bring to the Rocky Mountain region many new state of the art treatment techniques for better foot and ankle care.
"I feel very strongly about offering, and thoroughly enjoy providing, the most advanced, accurate and effective podiatric care to my patients. I continually receive continuing education and training for new techniques."
Dr. Michael I. Thomas, DPM
Dr. Michael Thomas joined the practice in 1993. He has also received significant continuing education training to enable him to continue to provide state of the art treatment to his patients.
"I am delighted to have you as a patient. As a podiatric physician, my energy will be focused on providing quality foot & ankle care. I look forward to helping you with your foot and ankle problems. I am tenacious when it comes to getting my patients well. I know the value of healthy feet to a person's quality of life and am committed to exhausting conservative care before surgical intervention. Should surgery be necessary, I feel my skills are well honed and very current."
Dr. Jared Overman, DPM
joined the practice in 2009
"My primary goal with each patient is to explain, in simple terms, both the diagnosis and treatment options with special attention to how each may possibly affect their overall health and day to day activities. This allows us to tailor treatment options to fit the patient rather than following a 'one size fits all' approach to medicine. I have found that with better communication you get better results and happier patients."
